In SAS® Risk and Finance Workbench, attempts to create a model group run fail if the password for the user ID being used contains one or more special characters. The characters that trigger this issue are an equal sign (=), an ampersand (&), and a percent sign (%). If you encounter this issue, then messages similar to the following are generated in the log:
Unexpected character ('<' (code 60)): expected a valid value (number, String, array, object,
'true', 'false' or 'null')\n

nested exception is org.codehaus.JsonParseException: Unexpected character ('<' (code 60)):

The workaround is to avoid using special characters in the passwords for user IDs.
